Hi and Welcome to the Ashhurst Inn 2nd Annual Apiti Scamper Charity Motorcycle run website! Last year was a huge success, and we were able to hand a cheque over personally to Wellington Ronald McDonald House for $7,000.

My wife and I are avid supporters of Ronald McDonald House, Wellington, after using the facility for a 6 month period in 2004. The house is currently trying to raise $14 million dollars to build a new house for families with sick children. Also this year Wellington Ronald McDonald House has hit the headlines with news of its demolition due to it being a leaky house therefore no longer being able to house families in need. It has highlighted the importance of the likes of our fundraising efforts with this charity ride.

Please join us on the day to make the ride an even bigger success this year. We have some great items up for auction at lunchtime and the bikes will be displayed to the public during this time and until 2pm.
